Jar Your Memory™ was founded by Joe and Allison Salvati, the parents of a precocious little boy named Max. Before Max was even born the parents-to-be knew they would not be very good at keeping a scrapbook and kept searching for a practical way to capture their child's milestones and memories.

After Max was born, Allison got into the habit of grabbing a scrap piece of paper and jotting down the date and a short note about his latest achievement. She tossed these notes in an empty glass vase sitting on the counter in her kitchen. Within a few months, the vase had found a permanent home on the windowsill and was filling up with more and more precious memories and personal messages from family members. Allison and Joe were enjoying this system of capturing all the amazing and funny moments without having to be near Max's baby book every time.

And so, Jar Your Memory™ was born. A beautiful, personalized jar you keep in the kitchen or family room – always nearby so you can “jar” a memory on the Memory Cards anytime the moment strikes. Then, as time goes by you jar your memory back to that moment each time you take out a card and remember the significance of that day.
